About the assignment
Our client is an authority operating within the justice chain, providing essential support to law enforcement agencies by conducting investigations in the form of analyses and expert opinions primarily for correctional services, police, prosecutors, and courts. The authority's main responsibilities include overseeing forensic psychiatry, forensic chemistry, forensic medicine, and forensic genetics. This is a consulting assignment through us at Bemannia, expected to start on March 1, 2026, and run until May 15, 2026. The assignment will be approximately 24 hours/week, of which 15 hours will be dedicated to operational purchasing. Your responsibilities
In the role of finance assistant, you will support the operations with operational purchasing tasks after an introduction from the unit manager for operational support and buyers, while also being responsible for reviewing the purchasing process from need to invoice, delivery, and follow-up.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include the following:
Identify areas for improvement and provide concrete improvement proposals with a particular focus on supply security, financial follow-up, cost control, and forecasting work.
Your qualifications
Higher education in finance or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in similar roles. Alternatively, high school or equivalent education and five (5) years of work experience as a finance assistant.
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Good knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindaance, Visma, etc.).
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of operational purchasing, budget, and forecasting follow-up related to purchasing. You may have acquired this knowledge through direct work or as a support function.
Ability to work independently and understand contexts without detailed supervision.
Ability to translate your own analysis into concrete and actionable value-creating proposals for change.
Meritorious
Experience with Visma Proceedo, Unit4, and Hypergene.
Assessment of planned approaches to gather information, compile problem descriptions, and formulate result-oriented methods/solutions.
Assessment of approaches to analyze and evaluate established purchasing processes and plans for reviewing existing governance, organization, and working methods from a purposefulness and efficiency perspective.
